# POS Workstations Overview

### Overview

Use this page to understand the POS workstation documented for this release.

Release `57.00` currently covers the Verifone C18 workstation. The C18 works with [Verifone Commander](/commander-user-reference-guides/commander-user-references/commander-user-reference-57.00/verifone-commander.md) as the site server.

### Verifone C18

The Verifone C18 is an integrated POS workstation for convenience retail.

It uses an 18.5-inch display and supports cashier-facing and customer-facing experiences. The screen can present different applications based on the workflow in use.

### Use the C18 for

* Cashier-led checkout
* Customer-facing display experiences
* Multi-application workflows with screen orientation support

### Display modes and orientation

The Verifone C18 screen can be set to **Home** for cashier-facing use or **Flip** for customer-facing use.

Each view supports portrait and landscape orientation. This allows the workstation to support multiple cashier-facing and customer-facing applications on the same device.

### App Selector

Use App Selector to manage supported screen views and application presentation on the C18.

{% hint style="info" %}
