**Description**

It is possible to configure the terminal to override any automatic application selection rules with the customer’s choice.

**Merchant/Customer action**

When checked, the payment application is notified of the user’s choice for performing manual application selection. The choice will persist for the duration of the transaction.

**Configuration Parameters**

`Merchant.AllowForceManualApplicationSelection` - When enabled, a new checkbox will be added to the hamburger menu found on the Card Prompt screen.
