**Description**

If there is no activity by the Merchant for 5 minutes, Connect Express (VPOS) will show an alert box notifying the Merchant that the current payment session has timed out and asking if the Merchant would like to keep the session or close it. This alert box shows for 30 seconds. If the Merchant does not make any selection in this time, the session is closed returning the control to the amount entry screen and the amount is zeroed out.

**Merchant/Customer action**

Selecting *KEEP* will restart the inactivity time for another 5 minutes.

Selecting *CLOSE* will close the session and clear the amount entry screen.
