# T650p Quick Installation Guide

This guide walks you through unboxing and setting up your T650p terminal so it is ready to take payments.

Before you begin, confirm you have all devices, cables, and accessories listed below.

### Insert the SIM and SAM Cards

#### Remove the battery cover

Release the latch at the bottom of the battery cover and lift the cover away from the terminal.

#### Remove the battery

Lift the battery out of its compartment.

#### Insert the cards

Insert the cards into the slots shown — PSAM1, PSAM2/SIM2, SIM1, and TF/uSD for a microSD card — in the direction of the arrows.

#### Replace the battery and cover

Replace the battery, then press the battery cover into place until it is secure.

### Load the Paper Roll

#### Open the printer cover

Pull the printer cover latch upward to open the printer compartment.

#### Insert the paper roll

Insert the paper roll into the compartment with the paper feeding out toward the top.

#### Close the cover and tear off the paper

Close the printer cover and tear off the excess paper by pulling it upward.

### Charge the Battery

Connect the USB-C end of the cable to the terminal and the USB-A end to the power adapter, then plug the adapter into a wall outlet. The battery indicator shows the charging status.

### Power On the Terminal

Press and hold the power button on the side of the terminal for 3 seconds to switch it on.

### Connect to a Network

Connect the terminal to a network using LTE or Wi-Fi.

#### Swipe a card

Swipe the card through the magnetic stripe reader on the side of the terminal.

#### Tap a card

Tap the card on the contactless reader at the top of the terminal.

#### Insert a chip card

Insert a chip card into the card slot at the bottom of the terminal, chip first and facing up.
