The Verifone V660c-A is a versatile, media-capable device designed for consumer-facing interactions. Its advanced features enable payment transactions through card payments and Verifone's cloud-based services, which include Advanced Payment Methods and e-commerce functionalities. The V660c-A can scan barcodes and QR (Quick Response) codes through the front camera to capture images and perform facial recognition through a top camera. Additionally, it supports receipt printing and allows clients to remotely monitor and update their devices via Verifone's estate management solution.

The V660c-A supports dual-band Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity) connectivity and Bluetooth 5.0 for IoT (Internet of Things), along with an Ethernet port for connecting to a wired merchant LAN (Local Area Network). This device also utilizes wired Ethernet LAN IP connectivity, features built-in receipt printing capabilities, and provides powered connection ports to support peripheral devices like barcode scanners or a companion PINpad terminal.
