# e285 Folio Quick Installation Guide

This guide takes you from an unopened box to an e285 seated in its Folio.

Before you begin, confirm you have all devices, cables, and accessories listed below.

## What's in the Box

## Quick Setup Guide

### Remove the Battery Cover

Take the standard battery cover off the e285 before seating it in the Folio.

#### Place the device face down

Turn the device off and lay it face down on a soft, clean surface so the display is protected (A).

#### Slide the battery cover down

Slide the cover down, away from the magnetic card reader at the top of the device (B).

#### Lift the cover away

Lift the cover clear of the device and set it aside, leaving the battery in place (C).

### Fit the Device into the Folio

Open the Folio and slide the e285 down into the holder until it seats, with the display facing out.
