K450 Wall Mount Quick Installation Guide

This guide covers mounting the K450 on a wall: opening the terminal, removing the wall mounting plate, fixing the plate to the wall, and securing the terminal to it.

Before you begin, confirm you have all devices, cables, and accessories listed below.

Four 3/8" anchor bolts for fixing the mounting plate to the wall.

Two keys for the terminal's display lock.

Quick Setup Guide

Unpack the Terminal

Unpack the terminal and confirm the four 3/8" anchor bolts and the two keys are present.

Unlock the Display

Insert a key into the lock on the side of the terminal and turn it to release the display.

Open the Display

Swing the display panel forward and down to expose the chassis and internal connectors.

Remove the Wall Mounting Plate

Slide the wall mounting plate upward off the back of the chassis and lift it away.

Drill the Wall Holes

Hold the mounting plate against the wall and drill through its four corner holes, using the sizes called out in the artwork (3/8" x 4 and 4-5" x 4).

Drive the Anchors

Hammer a 3/8" anchor into each of the four holes.

Mount the Terminal and Tighten

Fit the chassis onto the wall studs and tighten a nut onto each stud (detail).

Close the Display

Close the display panel against the chassis. The completed wall-mounted installation is shown.
