# Troubleshooting Guidelines

## Power Supply Unit

If the Commander Site Server unit fails to power on even when connected to a verified functional mains outlet, follow these steps:

1. Unplug the AC power cord from the wall outlet.
2. Disconnect the DC output plug from the power input port of the Commander Site Server unit.
3. When installing a new power supply, connect the DC plug to the Commander Site Server first, and then connect the AC power cord to the mains outlet.

## Reboot Instructions

The Commander Site Server unit should remain powered continuously after installation. Follow these steps to perform a reboot:

1. Disconnect the power adapter from the Commander Site Server unit.
2. Press and hold the Reset button on the side panel for 5 seconds to initiate controlled shutdown.
3. Confirm all indicator LEDs on the Commander Site Server have fully extinguished, then reconnect the power adapter to the mains supply.
4. The Commander Site Server will automatically begin its boot sequence once power is restored.

## Fault 1: Commander Site Server Will Not Power On

* Verify the Commander Site Server is connected to a working mains power source.
* Test with a spare compatible power supply adapter.
* If the issue persists after swapping the power supply, replace the main board.
