Verifone Hardware Setup for Key Loading

  • The KLD communicates with the terminal through Ethernet or WiFi to send the keys.

  • The KLD and Target Terminal must be connected to a network switch/hub, have access to a DHCP server.

    • You also use WiFi since most target terminals and the KLD support WiFi.

  • The network setup does not need internet access. Just a localized network where the KLD and terminal can communicate with each other through an IP obtained through DHCP protocol. So, DHCP server is needed.
