# Managed Network Service Provider (MNSP) Benefits

This document describes the benefits of having a Managed Network Service Provider (MNSP).

### WHY SHOULD I CONSIDER MNSP?

This document outlines the essentials of what MNSP is and why it’s a great choice for any\
business.

### WHAT IS MNSP?

MNSP (Managed Network Service Provider) allows customers to have complete control of the store’s PCI-DSS environment by replacing the Verifone Enhanced Zone Router (EZR) with a new store routing solution. The MNSP program reduces the complexities of store networking by reducing networking hardware and providing a single point of contact for networking issues and expansion.

**Benefits of the MNSP Service for a Business**\
There are many benefits to a business with transitioning to MNSP.

* Secure network communication across the store, as well as necessary communications \
 entering or leaving the store.
* PCI-DSS is under the control of the business and uses vendors the business already \
 has relationships with.
* The entire store network is visible from the MNSP device.
* The MNSP solution easily scales for the growing and changing needs of the business \
 (cloud, loyalty, and more).
* Networking support that extends beyond the core Verifone Help Desk support, provided \
by the people who know your store’s network inside and out.
* Installation costs are lower.
* Pick the solution that’s best for your store - many sites will have a choice of provider and \
be able to find the solution that’s right for their pocketbook and their needs.\*\*
* And finally, sites with Outdoor EMV must use MNSP for their routing solution.

**\*\***Major oil branded sites will need to validate provider or provider selection with their brand.

**Current Providers of MNSP Services**\
Verifone is continuously adding providers and increasing choice for our customers. Below is a\
table showing the current provides available.
