# Overview

### Commander Utilities <a href="#commander-utilities__000a" id="commander-utilities__000a"></a>

#### **The following utilities are intended to be used with the Verifone Commander.** <br>

If you are utilizing the tools on a back office computer, the IP address for the tool must be updated to the IP address configured for your Commander.

Please contact your Managed Network Service Provider (MNSP) if you're unsure of the IP address assigned to the Commander for back-office PC access.&#x20;

#### Program Overview:

* **SMS Report Navigator** - The Report navigator program is utilized to review reporting information for the Commander. Various reports can be reviewed such as Daily reports and cashier reports.&#x20;

* **SMS Transaction Manage**r - Transaction manager is used to view transaction logs stored on the Commander and can be used to create a manual local backup of transaction data.&#x20;

* **SMS Import Export** - The SMS Import Export tool is used to export and import the XML configuration data from the Commander. It is recommended to perform periodic backups of all the Commander's data when possible.
