# Hierarchy

This section provides an overview of how to edit and manipulate hierarchies on the Merchant Administration page. A hierarchy structure allows the building or mapping of the business structure within Verifone Commander Central. Hierarchies should be set up before adding sites to Verifone\
Commander Central. This allows more effective use of the Bulk Site Upload feature.
