# Coupons

A coupon gives discounts or offers from a manufacturer to the customers who purchase certain product/s from the manufacturer.

By default, this option is not checked.</td></tr><tr><td valign="top"><strong>Taxable Options</strong></td><td valign="top"></td></tr><tr><td valign="top">Manufacturer Coupon reduce tax</td><td valign="top"><p>If this parameter is enabled the tax will be calculated on the amount after the discount is applied.</p><p>Use this setting based on your state or local laws regarding how manufacturer discounts affect taxes.
