## Symptoms

You may see:

* The T650C displays **Error T703 – No Connection to Host**.
* A transaction fails because the terminal can't reach the server.
* The error appears right after attempting a sale.

**Most likely cause:** the T650C can't reach the Verifone host — usually because of a pending reversal or a network connection problem.

## Resolution

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Run the SAF Diagnostic

Clear any pending reversals by following [How to Run the SAF Diagnostic](/support-nordics/t650-two-piece/how-tos/how-to-run-the-saf-diagnostic.md), then reattempt the transaction.

✅ **Issue fixed — stop here.** ❌ **Still not working — continue to Step 2.**
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Check the network connection

Check the T650C is connected to your network — see [How to Check the Network Information](/support-nordics/t650-two-piece/how-tos/how-to-check-the-network-information.md). If it shows disconnected, reconnect it, then reattempt the transaction.

✅ **Issue fixed — stop here.** ❌ **Still not working — continue to Step 3.**
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Test on another Wi-Fi network

Connect the T650C to a different Wi-Fi network — a personal hotspot is fine for testing. See [How to Set Up Wi-Fi](/support-nordics/t650-two-piece/how-tos/how-to-set-up-wi-fi.md), then reattempt the transaction.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

**If the transaction works on the other network.** The problem is with your usual network — contact your network or internet provider.

**If it still fails.** Continue to the contact details below.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.verifone.com/support-nordics/t650-two-piece/errors/error-t703-no-connection-to-host.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
