# How to Set Up Mobile Data

Manually configure the mobile data (GPRS) APN on a T650 terminal.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Use this when** you need to manually configure the mobile data (GPRS) APN on a T650 terminal. By default the terminal connects to the GPRS network automatically, so manual APN configuration is usually not required.
{% endhint %}

## Configure the APN

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Open the Launcher

Swipe down from the **top of the screen**. Tap the **Launcher icon** (a grid of nine squares).
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Access settings

Select **Settings** → **Network & Internet** → **Mobile Network**.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Select your network

Choose the network shown (for example, **Telenor CXN** or another provider). Tap **Advanced**, scroll to the bottom, and select **Access Point Names**.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Check or update the APN

Select the APN in the list and check the **APN** value matches the SIM card:

* **Telenor SIM:** `verifone.inc.cxn`
* **KPN SIM:** `mobius.m2m`

Leave the **Username** and **Password** fields empty.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Save the settings

Tap the **three dots** in the top-right corner and select **Save**.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

{% hint style="info" %}
If no APNs appear in the Access Point Names list:

1. Tap the **+** icon in the top-right corner to add a new APN.
2. Enter a **Name** (anything you prefer) and the APN that matches the SIM card (see step 4 above).
3. Save the new APN.
   {% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.verifone.com/support-nordics/t650/how-tos/how-to-set-up-mobile-data.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
