# How to Change the Wi-Fi Password

Change or correct the Wi-Fi password saved on your V400M.

**Use this when** your Wi-Fi password has changed, or the password saved on your terminal is wrong — for example, if the terminal shows **Wrong Credentials**.

## Before you start

Have your **correct Wi-Fi password** ready.

To open the menu, press **4** and **6** at the same time, then enter password **1234** and press the **green button**.

## Change the Wi-Fi password

### Open your saved network

1. Open the menu and go to **Administration > Settings > Communication > Wi-Fi > Configuration**.
2. Tap your Wi-Fi network.

### Open the password settings

1. Tap **View/Edit**.
2. Tap **Authentication**.
3. Tap **Pre-Shared-Key (PSK)**.

### Enter the new password

1. Delete the old password using the **yellow button**.
2. Enter the correct Wi-Fi password, then tap **Save**.

To type letters and symbols, use the number keys — press a key repeatedly to cycle through its letters. Wi-Fi passwords are case sensitive.

### Save the settings

1. Tap the **back arrow**.
2. Tap **Save**, then **OK**, then **Yes**.

### Check the connection

The screen should show **"Network started"** with a **green tick**.
