# How to Perform a Refund

Refund a completed transaction on a P630 terminal.

## Perform a refund

### Enter the refund amount

On the Payment screen, enter the **refund amount**.

### Select Refund

Tap **Other**, then select **Refund**.

### Enter the Cashier passcode

Enter the **Cashier passcode** for security.

### Present the card

The refund amount appears on screen. Tap **Card or Mobile**. The customer can insert, swipe, or tap their original payment card/device, or refund via APMs by selecting them on screen.

### Wait for approval

The terminal processes the authorization and approval.

Choose a receipt option.
