# How to Enable POS Mode

Enable POS (Integrated) Mode on a V200C terminal so it can be controlled by your EPOS or till system.

**Use this when** you need to put a V200C terminal into POS (Integrated) mode so it can be controlled by a connected EPOS or till system.

**Do NOT use this when** the terminal should work on its own without a connected EPOS/till system — enabling POS Mode puts it under EPOS control and it will sit on "Waiting for Merchant Login." For standalone operation, use [How to Enable Standalone Mode](/support-uk/v200c/how-tos/how-to-enable-standalone-mode.md) instead.

This guide switches the V200C into POS (Integrated) mode from the Configuration menu, so it can receive login and transaction commands from your EPOS system.

You'll need the Configuration PIN to complete this process. The default is `12345`. If it has been changed and you don't know it, refer to page 43 of the [Webcom Manual](https://helpcenter.verifone.com/webcom-manual/).

## Enable POS Mode

### Open the Main Menu

Tap the blue Verifone banner, or press the `*` key.

### Open Configuration Settings

Select `Configuration` and enter your Configuration PIN.

### Go to POS Settings

Select `POS`.

### Enable POS Mode

Tap `Enable POS Mode`.

### Confirm

Select `Yes`.

### Wait for Merchant Login

The screen displays "Waiting for Merchant Login" until your EPOS system sends the login command. The terminal is then ready to use in integrated mode.
