# How to Find the MAC Address

Find the MAC address of a V240M terminal from the Communication status menu.

This guide locates the terminal's MAC address from the Communication menu.

You'll need the Supervisor PIN to complete this process. The default is `12345`. If it has been changed and you don't know it, refer to page 43 of the [Webcom Manual](https://helpcenter.verifone.com/webcom-manual/).

## Find the MAC address

### Open the Supervisor Menu

Select `Supervisor` and enter your Supervisor PIN.

### Open Communication

Select `Communication`.

### Open More options

Tap `More` at the bottom of the screen.

Select `Status`.

### View Connections

Pick the connection type you are using — for example `Wi-Fi` or `LAN`.
