Steps to reboot a Verifone terminal.
Use this when you need to reboot a Verifone device.
On the device's keypad, hold the red (X) button.
If a prompt appears asking whether to turn off or reboot, select Reboot. The device power-cycles and begins rebooting.
If no prompt appears, the terminal reboots automatically instead.
Don't disconnect the device's peripheral cables to reboot or power-cycle it — this can indirectly damage the peripherals.
