Changing a User's Password

Reset another Store Portal user's password as an Administrator.

Use this page when you're an Administrator and need to set or reset another Store Portal user's password.

Do NOT use this page when you want to change your own password — use Account Admin → Change My Password instead.

This page covers how an Administrator changes another user's password.

Change a user's password

Open User Manager

Select Account Admin, then select User Manager. The User Search/Maintenance window opens. Users appear in alphabetical order by user ID.

Select the user

Select the user, then select Pwd. The selected row turns blue and the password fields open.

Update the password

• User ID is permanent and cannot be changed.
• Select Generate to create a password for the user.
• Passwords are case-sensitive.

Users can also enter a password themselves when it expires.

Save the password

Select Save. PAYware Connect saves the password and returns to User Manager.
