Group assignment

This section discusses adding/deleting devices to/from groups in VHQ.

Use this when you need to add a device to a group, or remove it from one.

You can add or delete devices to and from groups.

Add a device to a group

Select the device

Select the serial number checkbox for the device in Device Search. The Actions window is displayed.

Assign the group

Click Group > Assign Group. The Add Group Assignments screen is displayed. At least one group must be selected.

Remove a device from a group

Select the device(s)

Select the checkbox for the device serial number(s) in the Device Search screen. You can select multiple checkboxes to remove groups from multiple devices at once.

Unassign the group

On the Actions window, select Unassign Group.
