Parameter download support for reference set assignment

Download and edit parameters to devices using reference set assignments inherited from the device hierarchy in the Device Profile screen.

What is reference set parameter download support?

This feature supports downloading parameters to devices whose assignment type is a reference set — assigned either directly to the device or inherited from the hierarchy.

The Device Profile screen displays the reference set name assigned to a device. With a reference set assignment, you can edit parameters directly on the Device Profile screen.

• No parameter upgrade support is provided for parameters inherited through reference sets.
• No parameter template support is provided at the reference set level.
