# Add a location

Create a location record.

### Add a location

1. Go to **Device Management** → **Locations** → select the **+** icon.<br>

2. Enter the location details and save the record.<br>

Location configuration changes appear in the **File Chain of Custody** screen.

### View the updated location details

Go to **Device Management** → **Locations**.
