# Alerts and notifications

The **Alerts** is a feature in Device Management to notify the user about an important event that occurred at the device or server level. The alert administration feature provides a summary of alerts. The severity of the alert is categorized as **Low**, **Medium**, and **High**. The severity of the alert is based on the requirement for notification.

Follow the option sequence below to view the alerts landing page.

**Verifone Central** > **Device Management** > **Alerts**
