Use Hierarchy/Group Management to organize devices by ownership structure or working set.

Use Hierarchies when you need a formal organization tree.

Hierarchies help you:

• place devices under the right business node

• control visibility and ownership

• manage users at a node level

Use Groups when you need a flexible device collection.

Groups help you:

• collect devices across hierarchies

• prepare bulk actions

• support reporting or operational tasks

Open Hierarchy/Group Management

1. Go to Verifone Central → Device Management → Hierarchy/Group Management.

2. Choose Hierarchies or Groups.
