Dashboard
The Dashboard is the main landing page in Verifone Central - Device Management.
Use it to monitor estate health, alerts, rollout activity, and device exceptions from one place.
When to use this page
Use the dashboard when you need to:
scan estate health quickly
move from a KPI to the affected device list
decide whether the next action belongs in alerts, devices, or rollouts
Before you start
Confirm that:
you are signed in to the correct customer or estate
your role allows access to dashboard data
you know whether you need KPIs, device lists, or alert details
Dashboard layout
The dashboard is organized into two tabs:
Dashboard — shows KPIs and charts
Devices — lists devices in the current estate
Use these views to move from summary metrics to device-level detail.
Use this review order
Start with the dashboard in this order:
Check High Alerts and exception KPIs first.
Check Active Rollouts when a deployment needs review.
Check Total Devices when estate coverage looks unexpected.
Open the relevant KPI or chart, then continue into the affected device list.

This view shows the main KPI and chart layout.

This view shows the Devices tab for the current estate.
Quick actions
From the dashboard, you can:
select the bell icon to open alerts and notifications
open the menu to switch customer context

Use the bell icon to review current alerts and notifications.
Use the customer switcher to choose a different customer, then select Submit.

Use the customer switcher when you need to review a different estate context.
KPI overview
KPIs summarize the most important device and rollout conditions in the current estate.

Choose the right KPI by question
Use these shortcuts:
check Total Devices when you need coverage and status counts
check Active Rollouts when you need current deployment activity
check alert and exception KPIs when you need devices that require action first
KPIs for estate status
Use these KPIs to understand overall device coverage and current rollout activity.
Total Devices
Shows the number of Active and Inactive devices in the current estate.
This KPI excludes devices in Pending Registration and deleted devices.

Open this KPI to review device-level identifiers such as Device ID and Serial number.
Active Rollouts
Shows the number of active rollouts for devices in the current estate.
Use it to track rollout activity that still needs attention.
Open this KPI when you need to decide whether to continue into rollout monitoring.
KPIs for alerts and device exceptions
Use these KPIs to find devices that need review or follow-up.
High Alerts
Shows the number of high-severity alerts generated for devices in the current estate.

Open this KPI to review affected devices and investigate urgent issues first.

Low Battery Devices
Shows the number of devices with low battery charge.
SW Out of Sync Devices
Shows the number of devices that do not have the latest application version.
Card Reader Failures

Open any exception KPI to review the affected devices and decide the next action.

Drill-down views help you move from a KPI to the list of affected devices.
Charts
The dashboard also includes trend charts for recent operational activity.
Use charts when you need change over time instead of a current count.
Open Alerts
Shows the total number of high, medium, and low alerts captured during the last 7 days.

Rollouts
Shows the total number of Success, In Progress, Failed, and Not Started rollouts during the last 7 days.

Swapped Devices
Shows the total number of devices swapped during the last 7 days.
This chart includes both successful swaps and rejected swaps.

Common patterns to check
Use these checks to decide the next step:
High Alerts is rising — open alert details and review urgent devices first
Active Rollouts stays high — check rollout status and confirm jobs are still progressing
Total Devices looks lower than expected — confirm your current customer or estate context
Exception KPIs are concentrated on one model or site — move to the device list and filter the affected set
Complete a dashboard investigation
Before leaving the dashboard, record the KPI or chart that triggered the review. Then confirm the affected devices, rollout, or alerts match the current customer context.
Use View devices for device-level investigation. Use Alerts and notifications for alert follow-up.
Verify the result
After you use the dashboard, confirm that:
you identified the KPI or chart that explains the issue
you opened the related device list or follow-up page
the next action is clear before leaving the dashboard
Result
Use the dashboard to spot issues quickly, identify the affected scope, and decide where to act next.
