Content rollout for batch devices

Schedule a content rollout for multiple devices in one batch.

Schedule a content rollout for multiple devices.

Before you start

Confirm that:

  • the content is already available for rollout

  • the same content should be sent to multiple devices

  • you know the rollout name, batch name, and schedule you want to use

Record the expected device count and final content set. Review selected devices before launch, especially when the batch spans multiple operational groups.

Create the rollout

  1. Go to Verifone Central → Device Management → Rollouts → View Current → Create New Rollout.

  1. Enter the rollout details.

The rollout name is unique.

One rollout can contain multiple batch names.

The Save for later option stores the current progress so you can finish later.

  1. Select Content Downloads.

  1. Select the target devices. Compare the selected count with the planned batch before continuing.

The device selection results show the available records, total pages, and current page.

If a selected device already has a conflicting rollout, use Remove Conflict before continuing.

  1. Select the content to download. Confirm that every selected device should receive that content.

  1. Set the download and install schedule. Review the target count, content, and schedule before starting the rollout.

Verify the result

Before you start the rollout, confirm that:

  • the correct device batch is selected

  • the intended content package is attached

  • any conflict was removed

  • the schedule matches the deployment window you want

  • the selected device count matches the planned batch

  • the rollout appears under the intended rollout name after submission

Result

The selected content rollout is scheduled for the target device batch.
