| **RESAMDOCS-29945** | During the app startup, the camcore application subcomponents, look for parameters in the config.usr1 file and update them to the CAMCORE.INI file. Currently the value length for this process seems to be limited to 59 characters. Hence if a parameter value is of more than 59 characters, then only 59 characters are copied to the CAMCORE.INI file and remaining are not. To solve this problem now parameter value length has been increased to 512 bytes. |

#### Fixed Issues
| [**XPI-1177**](https://jira.verifone.com/browse/XPI-1177?src=confmacro) | An issue was identified where entering more than 19 digits caused an error and pressing the red or green button on the error screen would freeze the device, requiring a reboot. This was reproducible on both XPI and SCA manual entry screens. Additionally, rapid input, deletion, and re-entry of digits caused a lagging effect, leading to a pseudo ghost entry impression. The application has been enhanced to resolve these issues. |

| **XPI-9110** | For XSIG commands across various file formats, it was observed that signatures containing dots were not displayed or rendered correctly. This issue has now been addressed, and the application has been enhanced to properly render and save signatures containing dots across all supported formats. |
| **XPI-9168** | During eBlob generation, the application checks for the presence of required tags—such as the expiry date (5F24) —before appending them to the template. In manual entry scenarios where the expiry date is bypassed, a default value of 1249 is used. Previously, requesting the 5F24 tag from SDI in these cases caused an error, since the expiry date was not set at the SDI layer. To resolve this, the application now directly inserts the default expiry date into the template instead of requesting it from SDI. This fixed template is then sent to SDI for further processing. |
| **XPI-9189** | The issue occurred due to the ACI enabling the POLL\_EMV (R01) functionality, which polls SDI for card presence. When the E06 command is sent after the C3100 response—while the R01 thread is still active—SDI may receive concurrent requests. Since SDI handles one request at a time, this can lead to a busy response and cause secOpen() to fail. The application has been enhanced to avoid concurrent access, ensuring reliable operation and preventing intermittent failures. |
| **XPI-9194** | In two-step manual entry, when the first request was sent with only the PAN and Luhn check enabled, the application incorrectly returned a Luhn check failure—even for valid PANs. This occurred because the Luhn result from SDI is only available after manual entry is complete. Since the two-step process wasn’t finished, the result was unavailable. The application has now been enhanced to retrieve the Luhn result from the 9B01 callback after PAN entry is done and return the correct response. |
| **XPI-9227** | In manual entry, when an invalid expiry date is entered, the application correctly displays an "Invalid Date" error and prompts for re-entry. However, the asterisks from the first input remained visible. If the green (Enter) button was pressed without re-entering the expiry, a "Minimum Entry Required" error was shown. Only after starting to type again would the field clear and accept new input. The application has now been enhanced to automatically clear the input field when an error is displayed, ensuring a clean re-entry experience. |
| **XPI-9229** | The 5A tag contained additional F padding (4 F paddings) even though the PAN is 16 digit length which was not handled properly in the application. Due to this the encryption data template length/padding was not done correctly resulting in failure during the encryption blob generation.
Code was changed to address/handle the additional F paddings in the 5A tag for the normal C30/F30 response as well as the encryption blob generation.

| **XPI-9231** | Previously, the terminal did not display an appropriate message when the contactless limit was exceeded during the execution of the Mess008 (Interac) test case. Enhancements have been made to display a specific message when the card returns the 9F63 tag with B2b1 set to 1, indicating the contactless transaction limit has been exceeded. The message varies based on available interfaces:
- If Contact interface is available:
"Contactless Transaction Limit Exceeded, Use Chip Reader" - If Contact is unavailable but Swipe is available:
"Contactless Transaction Limit Exceeded, Please Swipe Card" - If both Contact and Swipe are unavailable:
"Contactless Transaction Limit Exceeded, Use Different Card"

| **XPI-9236** | Previously, on the manual entry PAN input screen, the last entered digit would remain visible even after all digits were cleared. The code has been enhanced to ensure no digits are displayed once the input is cleared. |

| **Manual entry support for preservation mode** | Enhanced manual card entry to a two-step process: the first step captures only the card number, and based on the card type, the second step conditionally prompts for CVV and expiry date with manual entry preservation mode "5". This allows for the acceptance of both standard payment cards and gift cards.
Also Users can enable double confirmation of PAN entry by setting the MANUAL\_PAN\_RECONFIRM parameter.

| **XPI-9114** | Previously, unsupported XSLT command requests on the VOS2/VOS3 platform incorrectly returned a success response. The behaviour has been updated to return the appropriate 99E98 (Not Supported) response code. |

This issue has been resolved by implementing a fix to properly clear the previous swipe transaction data. |
| **XPI-9106** | Previously, the use of rff fields in CAMCRYPTO.INI caused the E06 command to fail on VOS3 platforms due to lack of support. The code has now been updated to add rff field support, allowing the E06 command to execute successfully |
#### Known Issues
* Card entry modes 4 (CVV Only) is not supported with manual entry currently.
* Manual Entry and swipe mode cannot be combined in S16 command.
* Signature input containing dots is not rendered correctly — the dots do not appear on the VFHost/POS signature panel.
* When the expiry date is bypassed during manual card entry, the E06 Get Encrypted Data command does not return DF9020 (encBlob0) and DF9021 (KSN0) as expected.
* Z55 command for VSD/ADE encryption is not yet supported.

| XPI has been updated to utilize the buzzer instead of the default speaker. Since support for VFI-Reader (Legacy) has been deprecated, XPI will now use the new buzzer option supported by SDI. To accommodate this change, a new configuration parameter has been added to the CAMCORE.INI file:Parameter Name: CTLS\_BEEP\_BY\_BUZZER
Values: 0 or 1 (default is 1)

| XPI has been enhanced to use external PAN to perform the PIN entry for Z62 command.
- If a card read operation was performed before receiving the Z62 command (as is typical in scenarios involving MSR card read followed by Z62 for online PIN), the PIN block generation will follow these rules:
- If the incoming PAN matches the randomized (non-VSP/non-NOE encryption) PAN and the Z62 command is received within 8 minutes of the last card read operation (C30/F30/S20/S16), the PIN block will be generated based on the PAN from the last card read operation.
- If the incoming PAN does not match the randomized (non-VSP/non-NOE encryption) PAN, the PIN block will be generated based on the incoming PAN from the Z62 command.
- If no card read operation was performed before receiving the Z62 command, the PIN block will be generated based on the incoming PAN from the Z62 command.
- If a card read operation was performed followed by an X00/X01 command and then a Z62 command, the PIN block will be generated based on the incoming PAN from the Z62 command.

| Encrypted data was not returned for Macy's non-ISO cards. The SDI Plugin was performing a full ISO check and identifying the card as NONISO due to an invalid expiry month. As a result, the data returned from the plugin was in clear text. When attempting to request the encryption blob, an error occurred. The issue has been fixed at the application level by configuring the plugin to decide whether to perform full NON-ISO checks based on the NONISOCHK parameter. Additionally, the application has been updated to support the CMASKNONISO parameter behaviour on the VOS3 platform. |

| **Driver's License Support** | XPI has been enhanced for providing support for handling of driver's license cards. This functionality is controlled by a new parameter -\_ ENABLE\_LICENSE\_DECODE\_. Below are the parameter details

- File/Section – CAMCORE.INI/\[SCCM.Config]
- Values – 1 (Enabled/Default), 0 - Disabled

| **AES DUKPT PIN Encryption Support** | XPI has been enhanced to add support for AES DUKPT PIN. For this the PINSEC parameter has been updated to support a new value “IPPAES” for the same. With AES DUKPT PIN Entry, XPI can support up to 10 AES DUKPT Keys. The selection of the AES DUKPT Key to be used for PIN Encryption can be controlled via AESDUKPTENGINE parameter. Below are the parameter details
- Name: AESDUKPTENGINE
- Description: This parameter allows the user to change or select the AES DUKPT PIN engine or slot. NOTE: It is a runtime parameter.
- Value: 0 to 10. Default is 0.
- Location \[SPPM.config] of CAMCORE.INI
For Z62 command, the Pin encryption type is now controlled with a new parameter. Details for the same is below
- Name: Z62\_PINTYPE
- Description: This parameter allows the user to switch between AES DUKPT or IPP DUKPT pin type. NOTE: It is a runtime parameter.
- Value: IPPD or IPPAES. Default is IPPD
- Location \[CPXPI.config] of CAMCORE.INI
With this change the XGKS command will include the AES DUKPT Pin key details as part of the response. Please check the EPP spec for more details reg. the same.

| **D01 command support** | XPI has been enhanced to add support for D01 command to provide dynamic control over pin bypass functionality. Please refer the EPP spec for more details reg. the same. |
| **VHQ Location ID Integration** | XPI has been enhanced to provide support for updating the Location ID to VHQ via XSETVAR/M41/M44 commands. To enable the functionality VHQENABLED parameter needs to be set to 1 in SAUIPARAMS.INI file under \[SAUI.MISC] section. POS/Integrators can use parameter to:
\*POS\_STORE set the StoreID to VHQ (Custom Identifier/LoactionID)
\*POS\_LANE set the LaneID to VHQ (Custom Identifier) Please refer the EPP specification guide for more details reg. the same.

| **Separate security host in sccfg.json file ACI/ADE encryption** | A new security host config (ACI) has been added in the sccfg.json file which will be used when the ACIFLAG is enabled with VSD encryption. This will avoid any modifications to the sccfg.json file during any merchant solution build creation. |
| **XGFL command support** | XPI has been enhanced to provide support for XGFL command to retrieve different types of device logs using the standard file names: -

Changes have been made in NAFG lib (CamClient library) and CAMCORE to handle up to 4034 bytes of chunk size (actual D50 packet size will be higher due to additional fields in the request). |
| **ANC-41624** | Code changes were made to address an issue with incorrect handling of display string and format string properties with legacy format (FORMAT STRING set with asterisks). Below changes were made as part of this issue
- For legacy engage format (where the format string is set as asterisk characters), the display string won't be compared with the format string value.
- For the new format (where the format string is set using N/C/A/X characters, application will maintain a flag after during one form initialization/display session and the comparison between the same will happen when both the properties are set. The flag will be reset upon every successful Initform operation.
- In both above cases, the maximum allowed characters that can be entered in the edit field will be controlled by the no. if input characters i.e. asterisk (‘\*’) in case of legacy format or the count of N/A/X characters in the format string.

| **ANC-41625** | When CAMCORE application explicitly display the idle screen as part of few commands execution e.g. D25/S001/S20 (Timeout) etc. the XPI idle screen parameters i.e. idle text/image/video is used in the below priority order even though XCOMPMODE parameter is set to 0.
- IDLE Text i.e. IDLE1/IDLE2/IDLE3/IDLE4
- IDLE image - IDLEIMAGE (if idle text parameters are not configured)
- IDLE video - when both idle text & idle image parameters are not configured.
Hence in the case none of the above parameter is configured, the device displays the "Video not found" error while trying to display an IDLE video (last priority in the above order). Changes have been made to display the screen based on the STARTUPFORM parameter to keep the behavior of XCOMMODE=0. The screen will be displayed as below.
- If STARTUPFORM is configured, then the same would be displayed.
- If STARTUPFORM is not configured, then the system information screen would be displayed.

| **ANC-41750** | Code change has been made in XPI application to address the below parity issue with MX9 XPI. On MX9 XPI/GuiMgr, the hard keypad (HKP) control numeric elements return the ASCII equivalent of the digits on the keypad. Hence the number 8 would return a value of 56 for HKP control for 8 key on the keypad. On Engage platform, the XEVT response retuurns a value of 8 instead. Also, for the Backspace key press, the same value 8 is returned. Change is made to return the correct value for numeric HKP control elements i.e. from 48 - 57 (for 0 - 9) in the XEVT notification. |
| **ANC-41751** | Code change was made to add check for track-2 length in case the track-2 read status is obtained as NO error from the firmware when track-2 is configured as mandatory and present error and prompt for re-swipe. |
| **ANC-41754** | If the value of XPI\_MAX\_MSRDATA\_WIATTIME is less than 1000, then it's considered as a value in seconds and hence multiplied by 1000 to convert the same into milliseconds.Code change was made to consider the configured value in milliseconds unit only and use the same as it is. |
| **ANC-41759** | Code changes were made to accept values off 3 digits for DIGITO parameter via M41/M44 commands and S07 command. The DIGITO parameter would be handled as below
- Read DIGITO parameter - maximum 3 digits
- If value <=0 or value > 299 or parameter not configured
- Set the value to 299
- Else use the configured value.

| **ANC-42088** | Code change was made in XPI to not update the device time zone via M43 & XCLOCK command. Along with the same a change was made in applog library to use the device local timestamp instead of UTC timestamp for logging. |
#### Known Issues
* Manual Entry and swipe mode cannot be combined in S16 command.
* Card entry modes 4 (CVV Only) and 5 (Expiry date and/or CVV only) are not supported with manual entry currently.
* Expiry date and CVV prompts cannot be bypassed with manual entry currently.
* WIC functionality is not yet supported.
* P02 command for VSP & Voltage encryption is not yet supported.
* Z55 command for VSD/ADE encryption is not yet supported.
* NFC/VAS functionality is not yet supported.
* Providing 9F20 tag in ASCII HEX format (emvtag9F20as field from CAMCRYPTO.INI) for encryption blob is currently not supported.
* AES DUKPT Mode is not supported for VSP encryption yet.
* 8-digit BIN functionality is not yet supported.
